About our handmade banners

Each bespoke velvet banner begins with your words - a lyric, line or phrase that you treasure. Made in our Newcastle studio, every piece is created slowly with attention and care.

We work with cotton velvet, for its depth of colour and the way it changes in different lighting. Paired with classic typography, which gives your words a timeless presence for both celebrations and everyday spaces.

A bespoke banner is made to be lived with and to become part of the places and moments you return to. Over time, they gather meaning shaped by memory, place and your stories.

FAQs

What sizes are available for bespoke velvet banners?

We offer three standard sizes - but if you're looking for a banner to fit a particular space, contact us and we're happy to provide a bespoke quote.

How long does it take to make a bespoke banner?

Every piece is crafted by hand. Most banners take 2-3 weeks from order to delivery, allowing time to ensure the finish is as beautiful as your words. If you have a specific date in mind, let us know when ordering so we can ensure your banner is ready in time.

How do I choose the colour for a banner?

Velvet is best seen in person. We offer a range of colours and, to help you decide, a colour sample card can be ordered so you can see and feel the options before choosing.

How do I care for a velvet banner?

Minor variations in the velvet's appearance, such as slight creases, are a natural characteristic of the fabric.

Gentle steaming will remove creases but velvet should not be directly ironed.

For long-term care, avoid direct sunlight as this will fade the colour over time.

I have an idea, can you help?

Of course! If you’re unsure where to start, or feel overwhelmed by possibilities, you can get in touch and we’ll discuss ideas together. Every banner begins with your story, and we’re here to guide it into something personal and beautiful. Contact us to discuss your idea.
