About the exhibition

Witching Hour was a group exhibition at Bottleworks, Newcastle curated by Sally Anderson. The exhibition explored themes of night time worlds, spirituality, witchcraft, sex work, the entertainment industry and darker aspects of life.

My artwork: Highly Flammable

Created originally for We Are The Witches II We Are, Hear, Highly Flammable subverts the role of fire in the witch’s story to reflect her duality. Highly Flammable sees the witch as both vulnerable and powerful.

Like my bespoke banners, this piece was handcrafted from cotton velvet, with letters hand cut and securely stitched to the banner.
