A groom who unknowingly braved nuclear fallout to find flowers for his bride. With the local market closed, he picked her tulips. Their wedding service included standing on a rushnyk - a traditional red and white embroidered cloth, representing their shared life path and afterwards, the newlyweds were so scared, they forgot the waltz they had learnt and clung to one another.
